Coaching is a collaborative, creative, and forward-looking partnership between a coach and a client. It is not advice-giving, mentoring, or consulting. In coaching, I do not tell you what to do or where to go. Instead, I ask questions that help you access your own wisdom, clarity, and direction.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

You are the expert on your own life. I am here to help you hear yourself more clearly.

People who hire a coach are not broken. They are not in crisis. They are people who know something needs to shift and are ready to do something about it.

My clients are typically artists, musicians, writers, and creatives who have gone through a major life transition, most often migration, and feel disconnected from their creative identity. They are functional, thoughtful, and resourceful. They simply want a dedicated space to explore what is next.

Coaching is for people who are ready to move forward.

No. Coaching and therapy are different in important ways.

Therapy often focuses on healing past wounds, diagnosing mental health conditions, and working through trauma. It is practiced by licensed mental health professionals.

Coaching focuses on the present and future. We work from where you are now toward where you want to go. I do not diagnose, treat, or work with clinical mental health conditions.

If during our work together I sense that therapy or another form of professional support would serve you better, I will say so honestly. Your wellbeing always comes first.

Becoming a professional coach involves specialized training and, at the highest levels, certification through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

I hold the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential, which requires a minimum of 500 hours of coaching experience, rigorous training, and demonstrated competency in the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics.

I also hold a Master Certificate in Songwriting and Vocals from Berklee College of Music and an MBA from the University of Tehran. My coaching practice draws on all of these, along with over 20 years as a performing musician and artist.

A consultant is an expert who assesses your situation and gives you solutions. They bring the answers.

A coach believes you already have the answers. My role is to create the conditions for you to find them yourself, through powerful questions, deep listening, and honest reflection.

In our sessions, I will never tell you what to do. I will ask what you already know, what you truly want, and what might be getting in the way. The insight and the action always come from you.

Yes. While my work naturally resonates with many women navigating identity and creative transitions, I work with any artist or creative who feels called to this process, regardless of gender.

What matters is not who you are on paper, but where you are in your journey and whether you are ready to do meaningful inner work.
